No, the Kit Digital has come to an end
The final funding rounds have closed, and no new vouchers are being awarded.
It’s understandable that the term still keeps turning up… Google remembers old search habits, and plenty of consultants and agencies are still advertising content from a year or two ago. We’d rather be straightforward with you than waste your time with false promises.
What was the Kit Digital, exactly?
The Kit Digital was a Spanish government grant scheme that offered small and medium-sized businesses funding towards digitalisation… including websites, online presence, social media management, cybersecurity and e-commerce. Through certified “Agentes Digitalizadores”, business owners could offset this grant directly against an agency’s services.
Why has the programme ended?
The funding pots were time-limited and have now either been exhausted or the application deadlines have passed. There are currently no new Kit Digital vouchers for businesses to apply for.
What does this mean for you as a business owner on Ibiza?
Put simply: if you were waiting for a state grant before investing in your website or social media, that arithmetic no longer works. But that doesn’t have to be bad news.
The overlooked advantage: no bureaucracy, no templates
The Kit Digital tied you to fixed service packages, forms and deadlines set by the digitalisation agents… many business owners ended up with a template-built website that looked like hundreds of other subsidised sites. Without that funding corset, you can now get exactly what your business actually needs: tailor-made, with no compulsory boilerplate and no forced templates.
What we offer instead
We’ve been working on Ibiza as a branding, web design, social media management and marketing agency since 2009… with our own team on site in Santa Eulalia. No call centre, no project manager based on the mainland… just direct access to the people actually building your website or running your social media channels.
Rather than fixed packages, we offer tailored quotes… because a small shop needs something different to a 180-room hotel. What stays the same is our standard of quality: real, honest content rather than off-the-shelf solutions.
Is it worth it without the grant?
In short: yes, if you want a solution that works in the long run rather than something subsidised once. Many of our clients who first got in touch because of the grant are still with us years later… not because of the subsidy, but because of the results.
Let’s talk, no strings attached, before you decide
You don’t have to commit to a big project straight away. Let’s have a short, no-obligation conversation about what would actually make sense for your business… and what it would cost to do it properly.
